Create in Clarity

In our modern connected society it's easy to get distracted by the constant stream of updates,
the cloud of marketing, and the flashy feeling of newness.

As a creative professional the need to be innovative is even more important than with a standard 9-5 career.

One of the many hats I wear is that of youth athletics photographer.
And I will readily admit its difficult for me, not in terms of technical ability, but in terms of actually being passionate about the work.

Simply put, I don't like sports, when I was young I had severe allergies and asthma, and when it was time for sports It was always something I ended up watching all the other kids have fun doing.

And one of the things I never want to do is to let monotony become my comfort zone.
Well, to combat burnout, I scheduled a shoot with a couple models to work on more creative ideas.

These are just a couple shots from that day to keep the creative juices flowing.

What do you do to keep from stagnating as a photographer?
